Arsenal® 4.1
Beef Cattle Vaccine
Arsenal® 4.1 is a
modified live vaccine for use in beef cattle as an aid in
preventing
bovine virus diarrhea (BVD)
Type 1 and 2, bovine
respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), infectious
bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) and parainfluenza
Type 3 (PI3).
Arsenal 4.1 protects against a broad spectrum of
BVD viral strains – including
protection against the BVD that’s most likely to cause
a BVD-linked respiratory outbreak: the noncytopathic (NCP) BVD
strains. NCP is always the cause of persistently infected (PI) calves.
Livestock producers can rest assured of disease protection
when
using Arsenal 4.1. It has been proven effective in tough challenge
models
using higher viral challenge levels than one may normally
experience in the field. Moreover, it has been proven safe even
in calves
two weeks of age.
Arsenal 4.1 is an option in the MERIAL® SUREHEALTH® Calf Preconditioning Program. Learn more.
