Challenges
Enteric disease (scours, diarrhea, enterotoxemia), respiratory diseases (atrophic rhinitis and pneumonia) and erysipelas.

How do I choose which vaccine to give?
Your choice should depend on:
   a. Your veterinarian’s recommendation
   b. Your herd’s disease history and exposure
   c. Your management program

Prefarrowing vaccination program

What should I give? When should I give it? How much? Helps prevent:
Porcine Pili Shield or Porcine Pili Shield + C Gilts: 5 and 2 weeks pre-farrowing
Sows: 2 weeks pre-farrowing 2 ml doses
2 mL doses Diarrhea caused by four types of E. coli; (Porcine Pili Shield + C adds protection against enterotoxemia caused by Cl perfringens Type C

Prefarrow Shield 9 Gilts and sows: 5 and 2 weeks prior to farrowing Piglets from vaccinated dams should be vaccinated with Rhini Shield TX4 at 7-10 days and 2 weeks later 5-mL doses for gilts and sows Diarrhea caused by four types of E. coli; enterotoxemia caused by Cl perfringens Type C, atrophic rhinitis, pneumonia, erysipelas
