Rhini Shield TX4
Swine Vaccine

The latest technology in controlling atrophic rhinitis, Rhini Shield TX4 helps protect pigs against atrophic rhinitis caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica or the toxin of Pasteurella multocida Types A and D, erysipelas, and pneumonia caused by P. multocida Type A. Rhini Shield TX4 can be given to piglets at 7-10 days of age, or to gilts and sows prior to farrowing.

In a severe P. multocida challenge study, vaccinated pigs showed significantly reduced snout scores and improved performance compared to unvaccinated controls. Vaccinates averaged 3 lbs. more gain than controls five weeks post-challenge.

Note: Producers who previously used Borde Shield 4 should now use Rhini Shield TX4.
